Every REVEL class is built from the same 50-minute split: half Technogym treadmill intervals, half bench strength with dumbbells and core. You switch twice. The only thing you choose before you walk in is where you start.
The app labels each spot T, B, or DB. They are not levels, and none of them is the advanced option. They are three ways into the same room.
The three codes
- T — treadmill start. You take the first half on the tread, then switch to the bench.
- B — bench start. You take the first half on the floor with dumbbells and core, then switch to the tread.
- DB — double bench, no treadmill. You stay on the floor for the full 50 minutes.
Start on the treadmill if
You like to get the cardio done while you are fresh, or you want the treadmill to warm you up before you lift. T also suits anyone training for a run or a race, because it puts the intervals first when your legs are at their best.
If you already have a treadmill pace you can repeat, T gives you a clean way to build on it. The speed and incline are yours to dial; the coach calls the intervals, not your exact numbers.
Start on the bench if
You would rather lift while you are fresh and finish on the tread. B is also a good pick when you want to spend your best energy on dumbbell strength and core, or when you are coming off a run-heavy week and want the floor first.
A lot of first-timers choose B without realising it. Starting on the floor gives you time to settle in, learn the room, and meet the coach before the treadmill half begins.
Choose DB if
You do not want to run today. DB is a double bench spot with no treadmill at all, so the full 50 minutes is strength and core. It is the right call if you are nursing a running niggle, if you are pairing REVEL with your own cardio elsewhere in the week, or if the treadmill is simply not the part you came for.
You are never stuck with one spot. The code you pick is just today's starting point.
Three questions to ask yourself
- Do I want to run today, or would I rather put all of the class into the floor?
- Where do I want to be tired: after the first half, or at the very end?
- What does the rest of my week look like? If you have two run days already, DB or B may balance it better.
You are not locked in
Both T and B get the full split because the room switches twice. Starting on one side only changes the order. Your spot is yours for that class, so if you want a different start next time, book a different code in the app.
Whatever you pick, bring the same things
Arrive 15 minutes early, bring photo ID for your first class, wear supportive shoes, and bring water. Late arrivals cannot join. The first-timer offer is two classes for $32, which is a low-risk way to try one spot and then the other.
If you are still torn, take the four-question spot finder. It will give you a starting point, not a permanent label.
